Your site is well laid out, easy to find the products, uncluttered, and has exactly what it's about - could you teach everywhere else to be this good? It felt like browsing the local old-time toy shop.

Aaron Slater at Carlisle School of Glass Art Marble Flame-Off in 2007
Aaron Slater likes to call himself an "artist-craftsman; "It's important to me to be able to straddle that line, to be able to express my creativity in works that display a high level of craftsmanship."

"I think the glass itself can be a bit of an attention hog, when I see a piece of art glass I always notice it's glass qualities first (smoothness, hardness, transparency, optical properties), that is to say I first notice that it is glass, then I experience the other aspects of the piece of art.

"I don't shy away from that fact with my work. I intend to highlight glass's inherent qualities and use them as a filter that affects the viewer's experience of the piece. It isn't just that it is made of glass, it's that it must be made of glass."
