Champion Agate Co. opened in 1938 in Pennsboro, West Virginia. Most marble production of collectible interest was curtailed in the mid 70's, but there have been several notable runs since. Champion marbles are generally of the swirl variety, and can be difficult to distinguish from swirls made by other companies.
