My last order was received by my 9 year-old son very fast and he was extremely happy with the assortment. It's so neat to find great marbles, thank you!

Daniel at work
Daniel Bourgeois describes his younger self as very creative - he spent hours drawing and creating movies, "There were worlds and galaxies in my my head that I was free to explore whenever I wanted." As he grew older and matured, he found he had less time for creative expression. One day he visited the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, the most prestigious glass museum in the U.S. and maybe the world. He was inspired to become a glassworker by the amazing sculptures, information on the history of glass and live demos he witnessed there. It lit a fire in him, and he knew one day he would work with glass.

A google search led him to the Diable School of Glass in Boston, Massachusetts where he works with hot glass to this day. Daniel says "It's like I've come home to myself again, rediscovering that childlike sense of wonder and desire to create. I've opened the door to the world of imagination once again."

Daniel has been crafting hot glass under the studio name Bourgeois Glass since 2013. His work is inspired by ideas suggested by the people around him. "Often their idea will spark something in me to explore a direction I would never have considered."

This artist's work will be custom-made to order, will vary slightly from the examples shown & ships artist-direct via standard mail (regardless of method selected) for no additional fee! (Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.)
