Brian Graham's marbles are unique, but you will receive a
marble similar to those pictured here. Individually
hand-gathered, each marble will contain oxblood and another
color swirled into it such as green, white, turquoise, etc.
The oxblood color is made from scratch - it is not remelted
marble factory cullet. The marble is made of newly made
glass and signed using a titanium pen.
These marbles are also finished off with a "melted pontil."
Expect the marbles to show ripples and texture around the
pontil area, surface striations between the colors that
can be felt with your finger, small unbroken bubbles,
small fire polished blowouts, and the occasional dimple or
crease.
Brian says, "My marbles are not perfectly round. I strive
to make the best spheres possible. You should expect to
find they pretty much mirror the range of variation that is
found in old handmade glass marbles. If you are looking for
a perfectly round and fire polished sphere, then these are
NOT the marbles for you. These will be in as-made condition."
