    These are the famous "moonie" marble - when a bright light casts a shadow on the translucent marbles, there is a distinct orange fire burning at it's center. Moonies always bring a premium when trading - moonies are prized and are usually worth at least 2 or 3 regular marbles in trade. They are also called Sea Opals, and sometimes have interesting bubbles visible in the glass.

    I have a "Moonie" glass egg and when I saw these, I was in heaven. I got 10 of them intending to put them in stockings but can't bear to part with any of them now. They have a beautiful glow that changes and is even more impressive in my "cluster".

    I just got my "Moonie Shooter!" I want to thank the person who chose the 1 I have for me--it is everything I asked for.: I asked if they could find me 1 that looks like a "Pearl!" and so it does. :) It glows with an inner fire; and shifts color on the outside TOO!!! It will look White most of the time... then WOW! it will shift to a pale Blue; or pale Golden color! I love this "Moonie Shooter." I'm sure you will love it as much as I do; (you almost have to hold it in your hand and turn it in the light to see its true beauty...)
