Jesse Demoss formed DeMoss Glass Art in 2005 in order that he might dedicate himself entirely to glasswork - he became addicted once he was introduced to lampwork in 1999. Entirely self-taught, Jesse finds great fortune in not being confined to the ideas and techniques of others.

Jesse says "My inspiration comes from everywhere and everything. It comes from the natural world of flowers, trees, mountains, insects and animals that surround me in the beautiful mountains of Idaho. It comes from the music I am listening to. It comes from other artists and other art forms. It comes from a puddle of mud. It comes from my spirituality. It comes from war. There is no limit to where inspiration is drawn from. Because of this, I believe there is no limit on what has, can and will be created with glass."
