Kevin Nail began working over the flame in 1997 and currently resides in Bend, Oregon. Gold and silver fuming (a technique whereby real gold and/or silver is heated in the flame, resulting in ghostly effects in and on the glass) is a specialty, and he often incorporates various accenting color patterns in the mix.
