I placed a marble order last week, some shooters and some boulders. They arrived quickly and were just so beautiful! Thanks for your prompt service! I am teaching a Boy Scout troop how to play the game, and these will be a nice addition to their sets.

Every one of Brian's marbles are unique, but you will receive one similar to those pictured here.

To make these marbles, Brian employs the same "one-marble-at-a-time" hand gathering process first used to make marbles in the US over 125 years ago by J.H. Leighton. Later marbles were made by manufacturers M.F. Christensen & Son, Akro Agate, Christensen Agate, and Peltier Glass who hand-gathered marbles and them rounded them by machine.

In 2016, Brian acquired the original William J. Miller marble making machine that was used by the Peltier Glass Company from 1923 - 2010. Like early 20th century manufacturers, Brian makes marbles utilizing the hand gathering process and uses the Miller marble machine to make the marbles round. You can see this machine in the images above.

Because Brian hand-gathers these marbles, they will exhibit the same design traits as vintage hand gathered marbles; a "9," "6," looping "S" or comma pattern, a tail that wraps around the marble, and an elongated shear mark where the gob of glass was cut off from the punty rod. Each marble is hand gathered/ manipulated, hand sheared, machine rounded, and then annealed to ensure it will last for generations.

Brian's work ships within 5 days of being ordered!

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Awesome marble from a passionate artist. 11/21/2017 Reviewer: Sean M (Taylorsville, Utah)
Nice piece of marble history coming from such an old and historic machine. the artist seems very passionate in what he does and has a nice website and he even offers tours and classes as well as much more info on the machine itself. The item I received matches the description spot on and looks absolutely gorgeous.
