This marble features a shining blonde center spiral reinforced by two layers of brightly colored lobes made of twisted cane. The colors fill all space from surface to surface while allowing enough breathing room for the viewer to peer into its deepest crevasses, like crawling through a cave. The heavily stratified lobes provide a vortex-like dizzying effect from the bottom view. Signed and dated by the artist.
