When used with a water drip, these diamond cups allow the machine to run untended during each grit stage, as the diamond abrasive is incorporated into the cups! Diamond abrasives also do not break down as fast as other polishing grits, so they last longer. Changing out the cups when you are ready for the next stage takes 10-20 seconds. No more babysitting, and no more mess! A set is 12 cups; 3 stage 1, 3 stage 2, 3 stage 3 and 3 polishing cups, as shown in the picture. The cups slip over the drive shafts and are secured with a single screw. The water drip assembly (stand, arm, tubing and water clamp - just provide the bottle) is $15, but if you order 3 sets of cups (for example, S, M & L) you will receive the water drip assembly FREE!

Use 150 cups for the first grind, 300 cups for the second, 800 cups for pre-polish, and then use the wooden cups with polishing compound to polish (Compound is not provided, but is easily obtained - we tell you where).

Cups are offered in three sizes; small (polishes 1/2- 3/4" marbles), medium (for 3/4-1&1/8" marbles) and large (for 1&1/8-2" marbles). The coarsest cups wear down fastest. It varies, but it can wear down after as few as 6 or 7 dozen marbles. The 800 grit will last much longer, and the wooden polish cups only get better with use, and last forever. You can contact the manufacturer if more cups are desired (contact details will be included).
