My grandson is 5 and I have been teaching him how to play. He has been so excited about marbles and this site has so many awesome choices. I cant wait til he opens these new ones for Christmas! Thanks!!
Size is as-packaged, or the diameter of loose marbles. ("D" is the diameter of round items other than marbles.)
: 7.5 x 8 x 1"
Molded plastic storage/display case with lid that lifts straight up and off. has 35 cells and can store and protect up to 35 marbles (70 if you double them up, as you can do with 5/8" and smaller marbles. )
These were invented by Cathy Runyan-Svacina ("The Marble Lady") after brainstorming for an affordable way to store, categorize and protect her many thousands of collectible marbles. Completely transparent design allows viewing from all sides while ensuring the marbles never strike each other.
Having just started down the long road of marble collecting, I have quite a few marbles "laying around". These trays allow me to organize and protect them while I decide which ones to keep. Masking tape on all sides of the trays allows them to be stored vertically into boxes (if you have limited space like I do, that's important).

After trying many different ways to store my marbles, I still come back to using these See-thru Sho-Off Trays, as they are the best way to organize, store and display my marbles.
