These antique German handmade marbles are collectively referred to as "Candy Swirls." They were produced from molten glass canes which were drawn out and twisted, then cut with "marble scissors" and rounded into spheres. Each bears two rough "pontils" where the marble was cut from the cane. This assortment includes white, yellow and orange latticinios, 1, 2 and 4 color solid cores, coreless swirls, and 3, 4 - even 6 band divided cores!
