Hi all, ID is slow going for me, and the swirls seem the hardest. This one is a little over 11/16, colors look to be opaque white, transparent red, and semi trans dark olive green and amber or brown or tan? :wave2:
When I find a marble here that I haven't seen before than i'm unsure where it has been made,American or foreign? it's 5/8 and its translucent. thanks,winnie

This are all the different colors that i've of the fig-8 marble,want to share it. It is said it's made in Japan.I think it's made before WW11.And maybe aswell after the war. As you can see only one is opaque. Are there more colors out there? winnie ...

This just larger than 7/8 slag has got me stumped! With a very involved 9 and what looks like a bit of a cold roll or maybe crease pontil? I am just not sure. Any guesses, MFC/Akro...german? It is a nice carmel, the pics are pretty close. 84932

FWIW IMHO This seller has come to this board asking for advice on ID & $$ value. Seller also says she knows nothing about marbles. Her father collected for a long time? She has my sympathy since he has recently passed> So why should this be a part of the sales pitch. Sympathy? If so why...

All of my MCS have 3 colors including white and excluding base color except my one with the addition of oxblood. My question is.......would you call the definate orange in this one a fourth or........and if so is this a common occurance? After all they were called Tri-colors. 11/1684917

A very nice 5/8" Purple slag...... has a "9 and tail" plus a good "cut-off"....pocket wear and old but pretty......any ideas?
