More shooters, Champion or Jabo's?
This pair has swirls near the surface and they appear to dive into the marble and swirl around the inside as well. There are some very light/thin lines of red or tan running throughout the marble that don't really show up in the photographs 15/16"
(Did I post this 2x? ugh). Anywho...no biggie. Just curious. Looked on the web; didn't see it. Tx.
thank you for answers!:wave2:
Here's three mesh bags I've had since I quit collecting. The bag in the first one is in really poor shape. Seam side is broken and somebody stupid tried to repair it with glue. Header says Champion Jr. and it's filled with Rainbo's and I think this one is real. Next is a Morton Salt bag also filled...
This is another shooter I picked up 7/8"
I picked up a bunch of marbles (mostly shooters) over the weekend. Here is a swirled red and orange shooter. Are these champions or Jabos?
This is the one I got other day. Is there still a different thing from a regular popeye and a snake popeye? I read to much; and absorb to little.
Here is another group of the swirled shooters. Champion or Jabo's?
Did some marble trading with a fellow collector and I put one of these cats-eyes in the trade. Then I was asked who made it. Yeah sure... :) So here I am asking for help. Number of veins seems to vary. Some 4 and some 5. One and only one vein is overlayed with blue. All just over 1/2". I thought I...
The first two green ones are probably Imperials, but I noted the seams were different. The middle one is a helmet, but how do you tell if they are Akro or Vitro (or do you care)? The last seems like a cork, but it's more like an outlined cork shape. Thoughts?
I was just looking through my swirls again, and this one popped out as being different. It has seams (I think). Can this be an NLR?????
The first has cool flames...do you call them flames if they are blue? The second is a swirl, but the pics don't show well. The third might be a lazy cork? Not sure about the rest.
First two just "regular/no name" vitro? Tx folks.
