  1. M.F.C. Opaque

    Been a few "?'s" about this type of marble. This is an M F Christensen Persian Turquoise opaque. Very tough to get a good scan of it, but I hope you can see the "9", somewhat of a tail, and the cut line. 7/8" and the color is a bit lighter in-hand. thanks.

    OK, I'll be the fist one. Size is 5/8". It has an opaque white base with swirls of transparent blue and transparent gray. Pretty marble, but I have no idea who made it, do you? Thanks.

    There have been a few "?'s" lately about this type of marble. They are a transparent based, which may be clear or colored, mib with a thin strand or ribbon swirled inside. The ribbon may be a single color or have two colors. Here are a few with the two-color ribbon and clear base....

    At least I think they are Masters(?) 1st two have a transparent clear base, next one is mostly white, last one is mostly gray/black. All around 5/8". thanks.

  15. Your Thoughts Please

    11/16". Opaque white base with swirls of very dark blue. What is interesting, other than the color, the dark blue has the same chacteristics as oxblood, in that it appears to be "painted" on the surface and is thick and thin in some areas. What da ya think?...
