Last June I traded a quart jar of lighters that I had $0.00 invested in for this sulphide. It's 1-19/32nds and really clean. I read once that a good trade should be a little painful for both parties, But we were both grinnin' ear to ear. So I guess we each saw something the other didn't. Bruce
Just got this the other day...
Miss me? :) 105141 105142 105143 105144 I finally snagged a Peltier Superman. Not sure what the speckled one or the bubbly banana-like one are.
I was just unpacking some marbles I bought on eBay and much to my delight, a green dyed hand-cut bull's-eye agate fell into my lap as I poured out a bag! (see attached). Here is the lot on eBay: ...

I hope I'm correct on this one. It's a step up for me in my MIB collection. Baby step of course.
I went to an estate sale, and this is the only marble related thing I found. It's pretty cool, though. The label says it's from Wolverine and that they have/had a plant in Arkansas. Now, I have to wonder about all of those cool Wolverine tin stoves. They may be local too. This pic is not mine. I...
I bought some small stuff, and I got a cool Vitro (and a clay) marble in the lot. It's orange, purple, yellow, light blue, and white. It looks to be in perfect shape. I also got a bunch of other cool stuff, which I included in the pic...just because. Notice the tiny metal mice on the right. They...
This one I won back in January. The seller had it listed "As Is" thinking it was damaged. It's just deeply lobed and in awesome condition. Only 2 little bubble bursts. With the really nice left hand twist. The center has a nicely formed yellow and blue solid core, I don't know if this is common or...
These were 3 different purchases on E-bay. The 2 smaller ones are 15/16" and 7/8". The listing was titled "3 Old Glass Marbles". My jaw dropped when I first saw that shrunken core mica blizzard. I paid under $75.00 for all. That was the only photo for the listing. The blue Onionskin has mica, it...
i won these on E-bay about a month ago, along with 10 Benningtons. I had to pay about $40.00 for the lot. The larger brick is .90", the lighter one on the left is a little damaged. The listing photos weren't the greatest, I think I got pretty lucky. I found a photo from the original listing. ...
Was Lucky to get these yesterday in the mail http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo245/Goddijn-2008/1.pelt-cl.gl%20Small_zps6ahtn4hv.jpg http://i380.photobucket.com/albums/oo245/Goddijn-2008/clear-glass%20Small_zps8eqzjxmo.jpg
I don't usually buy newer marbles (on purpose), but I have decided I need to buy some to compare to, plus new marbles eventually become old ones, right? I just found a 70% off sale and bought several bags for 90 cents each. Score! I think these are all Vacor/Mega. They were made in Mexico at...
this may not qualify as a "score".... but....its one of the neatest I've seen that i didn't have to pay for. One of my jobs is working for property management. I clean out apartments after someone moves out, let the rebuild team put new stuff in, then clean up their mess so it can be shown.........
