  2. Sticky Thread Sticky: Sorting marbles

Bored in jury duty so I thought I'd start a thread about sorting marbles - I've done it enough! The first thing I do when I have a big lot of marbles to go through is separate them into 4 groups: clearies, Opaques, cat's-eyes (that's the correct spelling as per Peterson & castle's guide) and...

  1. Marble Mail

More new stuff. Left to right. Coral. Kind of a albino Coral. Transparent base. Master Patch. Don't usually collect Master Patches, but this one is exceptional. Peltier Translucent Rainbo. Very pretty little Peltier.

  3. NLR's

Two new NLR's - Spiderman and Christmas Tree. The Spiderman threw me a little surprise. A fellow collector pointed out to me that it looked like a possible submarine Spiderman. I didn't even know there was such a creature; but, when I backlit the mib, I discovered it was indeed translucent.

  5. Marble Mail

A few more in the mail yesterday. More Corals. These two from the same seller. Left on is very soft in color with a translucent base and then a bright Coral on a transparent base. Right one is a clear based Peltier with mostly yellow ribbons with a smear of red. Kind of a wannabe Clown. ...

  8. Coral Groups

Here's a couple photos of Coral groups. There's been discussions over the years if the Corals were manufactured by Champion or Alley. Think the latest info says they are mostly from Alley with another small group made my Christensen Agate. These two shots are what I just call Alley Corals. First...

  9. Corals

I do love my Corals. Especially the transparent based ones. These two showed up today. Left is transparent based and right one is more translucent. A pair of very nice Corals. http://www.gaiser.org/Coral071317.jpg

  10. New Stuff

More new mibs over the past few days. First up a mixed bag. Left is a pretty honey amber MFC Slag with a "9" and a short tail. Next an old German Handmade. Seller didn't have a lot of description and I thought it was a solid core. In hand I could see that it's a divided core and a bit rougher...

Hi all - got a bunch of patches in groups of 25 on eBay along with some individuals marbles - flames (and some wannabes), metallics (Alley, Champ, etc.) and, of course, corks (and a couple bags). Check them out. https://www.ebay.com/sch/arasmus/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

  14. Peltier NLR's

Past few months have been adding a few NLR's here and there. This is my latest collective photo of most of them. So wish I started this hobby earlier.

A few interesting Rainbo pairs and a very nice minty Rebel (loaded with aventurine) that I picked up in the wild for a "whopping' ten bucks.
