  5. Poly Bags

Acquired on original bag of 1" Master marbles that are labeled as Cat's Eyes and these things are stunning. Problem is I can hardly see through the bag. Any way to clear up Ploy bags? I tried seeping a little distilled water in and massaged around but no luck. Any ideas appreciated.

  9. first one

Well, here's the first one that I have reconditioned with the machine that I bought from Pete. Yes, I know that I probably should have used a catseye as a test dummy (sorry Terry), but I just went for it with a "no guts, no glory" attitude. I know that it's not as dramatic without the "before"...

  10. the chicken's done

Well, I finished my first sulphide. I'm pretty happy with it, and it makes a good argument for "pro-polishing" versus "anti-polishing". The pics are kind of dark to show the detail of the rooster. The finish is flawless. Even though it had heavy damage, I was still able to keep it bigger than 1...

Hi all, Guess i'm new to the whole marble polishing game, years (20+) ago I collected antique beads and would get some german marble beads from time to time and fell in love with the colored gems, most were badly damaged being traded around africa for years. Then a few years ago I got a small Lot...

  15. Cornhusk repair..

I would like to know if a cornhusk shooter would be worth a polish? Would it take away the overlay of glass on the husk strip? Base glass is amber, so would that particular glass hold up under a polish? No internal damage just a zillion little flea bites over the whole surface..Thank you..
