  1. reflection

I am starting to get the hang of taking pictures so the marbles are in focus, but now I have reflections in the marble. Usually a window or even my hand. Is there some advice anyone can give. Thanks so much. I posted a picture I took today so you know what I mean. Amy:banghead:

  7. Constructive criticism needed....

Here are some pics taken with the new Canon Rebel XTi. I am having slight focusing problems. Just barely learning, as I had no idea what aperature and F-stops were....LOL. What a headache. I can take great pics of scenery and of larger things, but macro shots are killing me. Please critic...

  9. What am I doing wrong?

I can get somewhat decent pics of certain marbles, leave all settings the same and switch out mibs and get bad shots. I don't like the large light reflections, but not having a flash keeps me limited to using these lamps. Anyway, look at the brick photos....they are not too bad, although nothing...

Which do I want? Photoshop Elements or Paint Shop Pro Photo X2? I like to fix pics, but also play around with cloning, cropping and pasting pictures into other photos. The new computer is Vista, so keep that in mind. Thanks for any help. Derrick
