    What would you call these?

    Totally non-marble related...sorry!

Well, actually, this query is to help my marketing efforts at MegaGlass.com, which subsidizes this site and forum, so I guess indirectly it is...

What would you guys call these? If you wanted these things, what would you type in at Google to find them?

please try to think of any and all names you know these as...

Pete, wasn't there an older game called Pente that used flattened glass game pieces?

That top pic sure looks like the candy I used to eat as a kid - can't remember the name.

If I was looking I might type in melted marbles, flat marbles, glass drops or glass discs. Don't worry, I'd find them one way or another!

    I'd say Gems, too.

I had cat's eyes like these I called "Flat Cats". I believe they were pcs. to a game. Probably what Willie was saying.

Al, could it be Jordan Almonds?

Bocci, The flat cats may be from an Africa game called Mancala.

I use them all the time in my stained glass art. Go to any dealer (almost) of stained glass and you'll find them under glass nuggets in all sizes. Maybe I missed something but they sure look like that to me. Most of the ones I've bought before though have been opal or thansparent colors. I've not seen or bought the opaque ones however. Laurie
