    1st attempt at black light pics

    I noodled around for awhile trying out my camera on blacklight pics. It's an old Kodak DX7440. I have a good 18" GE blacklight that provides enough output to bring out the flourescence, but I'm still not getting the aperture settings right. This one pic of the whole tray came out fairly good.

    Keep at it, you'll get it. Stop that aperature down for single marble pics and use a tripod as the shutter speed will be very slow. Its also a bit easier with a more concentrated "beam" of UV light, in my experiences anyways. I use one of those little UV LED lights.
