Smilies look tiny?

Another issue I notice is that oversized smilies are forced to a standard size. I am wondering if that could be a problem. Some seem to be cut-off, others are just small. I'm going to include some here in this post to see what happens:

OK, so using them does make them full-size in the post. I guess they might need a little attention to, but not critical.
