Ie 8
I just tried viewing the forum with IE 8, and it looks like a train wreck...
Does anyone else see it like that? Specifically, the site-wide header and footer are all messed up. In FireFox it looks fine.

Re: Ie 8
Yeah, it was kinda jaggedy. I didn't notice it too much, at least not recently. But now that you mention it.
So then I went to the "Compatibility View" option. And now things look cleaner.

Re: Ie 8
LOL.
The reason I didn't notice the border was I was focusing on content. Compatibility mode made the border better. However it messed up my content.
Not a big mess-up, but not cool. The word "recently." showed up twice in my post. But when I went to edit it, there was only one copy of the word. And when I switched back to normal mode, only one copy of the word.

Oh jeez...well, at least I know I'm not the only one! I'm waiting on an answer from my developer re: it.

Re: Ie 8
Now I am stumped. Well, I take comfort in knowing you don't see what I saw...

Re: Ie 8
Actually Randy, my developer told me he fixed the IE8 issues. Step, you still seeing anything weird? He also mentioned there being some "compatibility mode" or button in IE8 that fixed the issue, before he hard-coded the fix...

Re: Ie 8
Pete, ask him if there are any known issues with the new Firefox 3.6. I just upgraded and the forum now is very sluggish to load. I don't know if they added anything new that might account for that.

Pat's answer
They said: "Compared to what? That is a fairly open ended quesiton and its pretty hard to give them a straight answser."
I should have realized they were not giving them anything to work with. Actually, I think FireFox is the one who could answer this question - they are the one's who likely tested FF 3.6 before releasing it...

Re: Ie 8
I tend to agree with you, but I can't control what browser people use.
