I've been watching the series on DVD. I'm reminded freshly of how odd it was that there weren't any aliens in the last movie.

What was up with that?

I'm all caught up now. Got through the last episode of the last season. The reason Mulder had to die was that he knew about a date certain for the planned alien invasion, right? In the year 2012.

The aliens had completely infiltrated the government, right?

And then they evaporate for the 2008 movie? I need someone to explain that one to me!
