    Marble ID and Value Sought - 2

    I hope the picture attached. I am looking for help in identifying the marbles in the attached image.

    They look like fancy benningtons (glazed clay) from here. As far as value I'm not quite sure though i know when they are over an inch they are fairly desirable.

    Small ones run $3-$5 to $10 ea depending on size

    These are approximately 1-3/8" to 1-1/2". These belong to a friend. He told me he was offered 35 dollars a piece for them 2-3 years ago by an antique dealer.

    Not sure myself on these types.........but I have found that using ebay and looking at similar sold items is a realistic indication of what something is worth. Of course, if Marble Alan is selling them, they tend to sell for more......based on his knowledge and reputation.

    Here's a listing for 3 shooters (about 3/4") each and they sold for $22.49.

    Another one that is 1 1/16" that sold for $21.50.

    I haven't sold marbles on ebay in a few years..........but have noticed that the prices are lower than they were then. (The economy, ya know. )
