A large antique marble collection untouched since the 1950s. I am helping someone clean out an estate. These marbles were found in Charles chip can. All of the others were empty, except this one. It is filled to the top with marbles, a marble bag, anda note written pencil. The note says " 1,722 regular marbles, 17 Large marbles, 19 old marbles , 1758 marbles all together." The hand writing is that of a young boy. In the estate, there are boy scout materials from the early to mid 1950s. This matches with the age of one of the family members of the house. I took a picture of the large and unusual marbles. They weigh 27.6 pounds. I decided to keep the bag, the note and marbles as a collection. willing to take best offer. A great piece oa Americana.
