    Spray can marbles

Found this site last night and found it interesting. I have jars of old marbles and recently started getting them from spray cans. I found mostly blue ones but have red, green, rootbeer , black and a few swirly ones. I have collected a fruit jar full in a year. Something to do I guess...

Cool. I have one spray can I've been meaning to open. Took me a long time to get over the fear that the can would explode. Now I just need to find a can opener.

INteresting idea - collection of "spray can" marbles. Post a picture of the ones that you have found. I am assuming that they are all like game marbles - opaque solid color with maybe a slight swirl pattern in some?

I'm betting most of the spray can marbles are transparent glass and most of them bluish.

    Re: Spray can marbles

I read an article about the manufactor of marbles, and they use the last batch of glass to the making of spray can marbles, and most are blue. If you are afraid to get juiced on by a can just drive a nail into an old piece of wood and grind off the head and you can wack the lower part of the can to evacuate whats left in can, then take a knife and make two slices like a pie and pour out marble. Lots of cans out there with marbles waiting for a home.
