$2 Vitro Tiger Eyes, Conquerors, and All-reds

Here are a few of the marbles (nearly 400) I got for $2. I think is shot alone shows I got my money's worth. Aren't they lovely? The front left Tiger Eye looks pretty funky. The coral colored Conqueror is cool, too. One of the All-reds has blue beneath the green.

A lot like this is great for learning what kind of variety there is amongst the different varieties and overall production of a particular company. One of my greatest buys was a jar of Peltier marbles I purchased from an ex-factory worker. He had taken them home from the factory throughout the years.

vitro has a htf opaque white they used on their marbles. It's more opaque than their usual white. Do you know what I'm talking about? Have you found that?

Yes. All All-reds. Not sure if the one with the blue under the green has a different name, but they all have red heads.

Yeah, Pete. I have a tiny few with the solid white base or at least a heavy veneer. Then I have some with very thin veneer.

Sorry meant in the conquerer pic. It looks like something else to me?

Oh, that is a new one for me too. It's a coral colored patch. It thins at the top, so it looks a bit darker along the edges.

Oh. I was thinking that it mite have been a vitro bull's eye rather than a conquerer.

It was only ID'd by one person; but it seemed to fit the bill and I went with it.

Is there such a thing? It's just a regular old Conqueror, only in a new color for me.
