Scott Patrick marbles
On another thread Pete and I were discussing Scott Patrick and his marbles. He gets dissed by some collectors, but I've never had any problem IDing his stuff.

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
Never heard of him, but those are cool marbles. I thought the last groups were Vacors (Michelangelo?) or something. Cas sent me one similar to the middle group. I love it!

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
The ones in the last batch he made were some very sweet German handmade mimics. The pontils are different than the vintage Germans

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
Hello everyone .
I'm new to this site but have been collecting for a very
Long time. Many years ago I purchased a few of Scott
Patrick's marbles from Alan's Marbles. I have tried in vain
to find more SP marbles to purchase. Can anyone please
tell me if SP is still around and is he still making marbles.
I found one of SP marbles on eBay but that's about all I could find
recently.
Thank you in advance.
PS
What is the best Marble show in Ohio to go to.
Best

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
Hi
Thanks for the response !
Hope Scott wasn't forced to go to Mexico ?
So you think he's still working for himself or a marble
Company ? I'd really like to find out if he is going
to produce any more marbles .
Im a big fan and love Scotts marbles !
Wish I had bought more when they were more readily
available.
If you get any more info would you please pass it on ?
There are a few SP marbles around for sale but not many.
Thanks again

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
I'm friends with him on facebook and just asked for you. I don't think so, but maybe he is again. If he is, I'm buying!
He took a lot of flak for creating what some saw as peltier NLR ripoffs but his had many more ribbons than Peltier had, so I could tell the difference. The marbles at the top of JerryG's post are Scott's NLR Golden Rebel knock-offs. That swirl visible in the marble at 10:00 is another Scott Patrick give-a-way, he had to do that on his marbles somewhere on the surface.

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
I made contact with Scott. He is making marbles again but his prices are too high for me to buy to resell. (No wholesale) I'll check with him again sometime soon.

PS
Does anyone have any Scott Patrick marbles they might
want to sell ?
Thank you all

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
Hi Gib,
I don't know if you are still monitoring this thread, but I believe I just picked up some gorgeous Scott Patrick MIBs and Peewees. I need to do a little more research to 100% verify; as I do not know like to sell something without being 100% authenticated. I'll hold onto something for years until I can know for sure. Anyways, if you want to contact me, you can post through here or the faster way would be to look me up on my eBay store. It is "The Vernian Treasury". I Have two that have a stunning Lutz multicolor peacock feather like motif. I would embed the photos here, but mine never load. I need to take some time to fix that problem. I can send you photos through eBay easily and maybe you can verify these are for sure his. I am pretty sure they are. They have the tell tale little loop back thingy that one of the previous posters mentioned. They are almost always on his. I have only seen two pieces of his without it. Hopefully you will get this and you are still looking for Scott Patrick marbles and we can chat. Talk to you soon hopefully.

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
Hi Gib,
I tried to post to the thread, but it doesn't seem to be coming through. Hopefully you are still monitoring this thread. I just came across some what appears to be some gorgeous Scott Patrick marbles. I am doing a little research to confirm, but I am pretty sure they are; and a decades long collector friend of mine identified them are Patrick's. He is very rarely wrong. Anyways, contact me here; or more easily at my eBay store "The Vernian Treasury". Hope to hear from you.
Thanks,
Lee

Re: Scott Patrick marbles
Hello all
Here I go once again trying to find Scott Patrick marbles. Someone said SP was making marbles in Mexico, another gentleman said he couldn't afford SP's marbles bc SP's purchase cost was to high to resell.
I've seen a few SP marbles here and there but nothing significant honestly.
Is there anyone on this forum that can put me in touch with the Master Scott Patrick.
I tried looking for SP via google / Facebook etc ! No luck
Thank you in advance for any and all help
