Just got 4 german handmades for $25!

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Vintage-An...wAAOSwWxNYpvav

Perhaps the best deal I've ever seen! That's an average of $6.25 per marble, while normally you'd be lucky to find one of those selling for twice that, and more likely at least the cost of the whole lot!

The bad news is I can't really look at them anymore until they arrive on the 27th

Nice group at a fair price, Try to get to a show. You will find prices very reasonable. And the best suggestion ever made to me was buy mint marbles as they hold value and you will not be constantly trying to upgrade. Wish I would have listened

I'd love to go to a show, if one ever comes here to Utah :-(

Sorry. You have a longer way to go than I do . Vegas would be a great first show!

Very pretty! I especially love the one in the front in the last pic with the almost turquoise and pinkish ribbons - a beauty.

Almost looks like the front marble may be what some call a latticino ribbon core, not a common marble to find. If it is a nice size and in great shape it may be worth the whole purchase price!

Hopefully I'd be able to make it to a Vegas show, but it seems to me going far out of my way to go to one would negate any price advantage of the marbles there.
    Yeah, it is a beauty!
The seller said they were about 5/8

They arrived! And yes, one of them does have a divided latticino/ribbon core! No missing glass but does have very minor surface wear. A couple of the others have moons or small pits. I still love them though.
The bad news is that the clays in the other lot I bought smell like cigarette smoke! Ugh! Any tips for getting rid of the smell? Right now I'm dealing with it by putting a clementine peel over the dish I'm keeping them in. Thanks!

Charcoal or kitty litter usually draws away odors, or you could air them out on a windy day
