Pair of bubbly green marbles from a 1930s game

    Greetings, all.

Found these two earlier in the week in an old game (made in the 1930s). The game's in great shape so I figured there's a chance these marble might be from around that time.

Tried to get the best shots I could. Can take any others needed, etc.

I love how the air bubbles look. Regardless of who made them or what they might be worth, they're fantastic to look at!

Any help in ID'ing would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    L

Almost all marble companies made transparent marbles so ID is close to impossible, The name of the game manufacturer can sometimes be a clue, Whomever made them, value would be very little.

Aw, was at least hoping for an ID. Figured it might be a long shot.

    The game was a Lindstrom.

Prior to posting, my quick research -- based solely on the fact that the game came out in the 30s -- turned up any of Master Marble, Peltier, Alley, Ravenswood, or Vitro. But I couldn't find any connection with any of those manufacturers to Lindstorm.

As an afterthought, this marble was included as well. Didn't snap a picture of it initially because I figured the manufacturer of the others would indicate its manufacturer. Seeing as how it's not transparent, though, might this help to work in the opposite direction? i.e. help indicate who might've made the transparent ones. Or maybe it's just a bust too.

Looks like a bead that someone put in with the marbles.

Ahaha. Thoroughly common in all regards then. Ah well I shall keep each of them around for something or other I suppose.

Thanks much for the help. This forum is great. In the event I ever make the jump from old toys to marbles I know just where to come hang out.

Those are some really cool boards! I like the Wahoo board. Is the Einstein poster a placeholder?

Just a hero of mine. He comes in right after Leonardo Da Vinci on my list. There are another 15-20 boards in other rooms and in the closet. I also really like the Ballot boxes.
