    Identification Help

I have come across a large collection of marbles. Here is a tiny sample. If someone can tell me anything about them, I would be grateful.

First photo looks to be a combination of Marble King and Vitro. The one at the far right is a Vitro All Red and the one at the far left looks like it's a Marble King Patch and Ribbon. Center photo is a Japanese Cat Eye, probably from the 60's. No idea on the right photo.

Welcome! When I was first starting out I found posting pics and asking experts for their input as well as browsing any and all forums I could was the most helpful. That said this website was also a gem for me. Somewhat outdated but a good start as you delve further into the hobby.

There's a few books you could purchase, but there's nothing really new. Cas's suggestion with All About Marbles is a good one and there are a number of ID sites available on the internet.

If that big of a collection, try sorting a couple groups of ones that look best (to you) for posting pics and take it from there. Size of the marbles will also help
