    Opaque pink and other lutzs

HI ALL. Completely new to the forum. I recently was asked to see if I could help an octogenarian friend sell her century-old bag of marbles, so I posted them on Ebay since I was selling some pistol grips there this week anyway.

I just poured them all in a glass bowl and took a bunch of random pictures.

Got in a bunch of questions on what I later learned to be a rare opaque pink lutz with blue stripes. Found similar ones sold in auction for some very hefty prices.

I want to just leave the sale up until it ends, but perhaps I need to pull the auction and identify these marbles better?

Here are the pictures of the pink lutz and the other lutzes. The bag includes just over 200 marbles and some of them seem to be really old and worn.

Thanks. I am, indeed, quite clueless here.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for showing us a few cool marbles. There are a lot of collectors that are into Lutz marbles and the pink one is not seen often. Condition plays a big part of the value.

Valid question, and if it's your auction were you planning to post a link?

I believe posting a link is against your rules. I just ended the auction and will sell the marbles individually or in small groups beginning with the lunzes. Where were the antique lunges made? Roughly how old is this cool marble?

Hey, no problem, I don't make the rules here and providing my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Some other handmade marble collectors could probably chime in but for age a good estimate would be +/- 20 years from 1900 for the marbles you had pictured. Handmade marbles from Germany.

    Good luck, pretty cool find.
