    It looks like a regular type pontil.

    IF this is a type of "transitional", it would be a very, very hard one to find. You almost never see them in transparent blue glass.

    Doesn't look like a pontil to me but a big hit mark......is it an indentation like it looks like?

    A big ole hit mark? Damn Jon, my eyes is bad, but I aint blind, yet. Actually the "pontil" is not indented, but protrudes a bit. Hard to get a good pic, but.....

    I'll buy that its a regular pontil, the placement seems to be in a focal point at a pole where the opaque white gathers. I can see the "outtie" effect you mention in that area as well. Very pleasing color, its somewhere between aqua and royal blue if the photos are true.

    In that last group pic of 3, the first pic even has a bit of the pattern that you see on some of the Pelt Multi-Color Swirls. Neat.
