A couple of cool regulars
I just found out that i had a Vacor Sunflower that has a little flame like swirl and a octopus that has a crazy corkscrew on it.
I also had a super small marble that had (adventurine? I don't know how to spell it) in it and it was to small to get a good pic of it, though.

Re: A couple of cool regulars
The left one marble is the one you call an octopus?
Indeed it's a nice marble, those Vacors can be pretty.

Re: A couple of cool regulars
I'm not sure what Luke means. The school bought marbles (by way of Luke's Mom) and distributed them to the students, as was intended.
I guess Luke means the school paid, but got no marbles for their money (in the end) because they distributed them to the students, as was the plan.
I don't believe any criminal activity was involved

Re: A couple of cool regulars
sorry guys for the misunderstanding, i meant that the school bought the marbles, and we got them, and gave them to the kids but not to the staff...
That's what I mean. Megaglass is a great company! Pete is awesome and I think of him as a friend. I apologize for this huge misunderstanding!

Re: A couple of cool regulars
"haha school, they got ripped off! they had to pay for EVERYTHING and didn't get a thing in return!!!"
Ah, but you are wrong From what I understand, the "school" (principal and staff) was quite pleased with the pleasure you and other students received. Can't put a price on that!

Re: A couple of cool regulars
This is Luke's mom. I had no idea what he had posted. He is very sorry and did not mean what many of you think he meant. He is a boy...and not a criminal! Pete is awesome and did a great thing by helping our school to get the marbles. The staff and the kids were 110% pleased in every way! It is my fault as his mom that I did not check how he was wording what he put. He loves marbles and has enjoyed being a part of this forum. Everybody makes mistakes... he is only 10. Thank you for your understanding.

Re: A couple of cool regulars
Thanks Kelly (Luke's Mom) for dropping in. As I explained to you in email, most of us collectors have been taken advantage of by sharks who either trick us into trading our best marbles, or selling us junk through bad deals. So when we get wind if something that sounds like someone may have been taken advantage of, collectors pounce.
Luke has been a good thing for marbles. I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I sent Luke some business cards (Identifying him as a "Marble Ambassador") and they include a coupon code good for a discount here. He hands them out with my logo marble, and most recently, the 3D Golden Rule Marbles, and his coupon code is entered at my checkout more than any other I've distributed, so I know he is doing a top job of spreading the good word about marbles!
In doing this, Luke helps secure a future for the game and hobby, and I don't think there is anyone here who can find fault with that because if there's one thing we all have in common, it's a love for marbles!
So I'm saying "Thank You Luke!" on behalf of every collector out there - we owe it to him!
