Vintage collection for sale.

The whole thing. Most of this collection has been culled over the last ten years, to eliminated anything less than mint- condition. A lot of mint stuff here, and no junk.

100 German Hand made. 2 lutz, a purple banded opaque, a maglight Indian w/Aventurine, and Lutz, A Cornhusk, multicolor banded transparent, 6 onionskin, a few mica.

500+ Benningtons. 7 are 1-1/2", mint. 1 is 2-1/8", mint-. Small handful are Fancy. 1 Purple.

50, or more mixed clay, lined, crock, etc. Another 75 commies.

75, or so Christensen. Most are two color swirls. A few 3, or 4 color. A few have seams.

Hundreds of Akro. 38 Popeyes, Five big ones. 3, three color, and one five color (heavy ware, no missing glass). 4 Limeade oxblood, 6 Lemon Ox, 1 Blue ox, 18 sliver/milky ox, 16 ox patches, including a heavy ox 1". 8 Sparklers Half are mint, mint-. 2 Eggyolk ox, 6 blue eggyolk. Over 100 no white corks, some very nice dug style, with many Superman. 100, or so mint white base corks. Around 200, or more patch style. One, or two examples of many unmentioned styles, Crow, carnelian, lemon, lime, cherry, etc.

150+ slag style, mixed maker, and style. No junk. A few hard to find, a few seamed, and some large ones.

Around 500 Master. Nice. Maybe more. More than a qt. jar worth.

Around 400 Peltier. A mint Superman. A mint Burnt Christmas Tree, beautiful, heavy colors. Submarine, NLR's, Miller, Peerless, 3 Novas. All in great condition.

Well over 1000 Marble King. Mint 1" Berry Pink. 2 qt. full of mint, mint- bees. 1 qt. 1" bees. Nearly a qt. of Boy Scouts. A couple dozen Girl scouts. A bunch of wasps, and some tigers. 1" examples, as well. Mint, mint- qt. jars of each rainbow color. Nearly a qt. each of two color, and tricolor. A few qt. jars of dug. A lot of blended examples. I'm missing a nice Watermelon, Dragonfly, and Hercules, but have good examples of blended, or good condition.

Over 1,200 Vitro. Basically working on filling qt. jars of each common style. 100+ Blackies, 200+ Tiger eye, 100, or more Opal. Hundreds of Conquerors. A couple very rare Christmas trees. Some very nice Cosmic Rainbows, only a couple peas. Many, many others. I may have over 2000.

Well over 1000 WV swirls. A qt. with no white. a pint of 2 and 3 color.

1000+, or so Champions. Nearly half are rich colors. Only two furnace swirls. A handful of New Old Fashioned. A couple handfuls of same run styles.

100+ Mid Atlantic.

Hundreds of mixed cats. A lot of nice blended, and a few MK cross throughs.

Hundreds of solids.

I'm not certain the value. But my repeated, conservative estimates are over $10k. I would entertain serious inquiries to view, appraise, and make a fair offer.

I have a few thousand less than mint- examples that I will give for free, as a bonus on the purchase.

I will also consider my contemporary hand made collection, either separately, or in conjunction.

One may also view my stock of Jabo marbles. One of the largest, most diverse around.

Awful time to sell, but I have to do, what I have to do.

Well, I did change my mind, but got whammied with a big financial burden.

I'm really only pushing the vintage collection.

I would rather sell the vintage collection, as the Jabo stockpile will eventually pan out six digits a few times over. I'd rather lose $5,000 up front, than lose a potential, eventual 1/4 million. I suppose if the right offer came along, this would also change.

I'll give it another week, or two, then likely rob Pete, to pay Paul, and start piecing things out. More work, but I'll make more than I would with a flat sellout.

Maybe I'll get some money for my birthday today

Re: Vintage collection for sale.

This collection is completely different than what you may see me listing on ebay. Those are part of the George Carter collection, recently auctioned off in New Philly. However, the remaining marbles from that will be given to the buyer as well. Roughly 1500 in mint, mint- condition.
