When the old Ravenswood storage building was sold several decades ago, the new owner, unaware of the value of the marbles stored there, dumped 9 barrels of pre-1955 Ravenswood marbles into the river. These were recovered by digging the bank and dredging the river. While many are not perfect, they do serve as rock-solid reference pieces to aid in the identification of Ravenswood colors and patterns. Our choice of color and style please. Order several, and all will be different!
