Although Ron Bearer Jr. offers fine crafted glass art in flame worked, fused and stained glass forms, he has focused his passion for art on flameworking glass. It is his personal goal to expand the recognition of glass as a fine art medium. To this end he has also authored several instructional articles, books and a DVD, and also leads workshops on various techniques. He is especially adept at creating custom colors and unique flower petal textures, and does so with glass cane he creates himself. Each marble has both blue and green aventurine glass.

He also enjoys sharing time with family and friends and visiting bed and breakfasts in small antique coastal towns with his wife Rocio.
